Day 2 .. November 07, 2007

Our first adventure was a visit to the Hartley's Crocodile Farm and an exclusive tour spotting crocs and tasting crocodile meat. We also saw our first koalas, kangaroos and wallabies. We then proceeded to the resort village of Port Douglas for a walk and some lunch before heading for the bush country with a visit to Wetherby's Cattle Station. We had a demonstration of rounding up cattle and learned some of the history of the cattle station. We enjoyed an early dinner at the historic homestead of locally grown beef with Australian wine before heading home.
