| We leave England today and head for France across the English Chanel.
We are put on a hover craft by the white cliffs of Dover, so we road on
a cushion of air, which took us approximately 30 minutes to make
the crossing. It was a noisy trip but interesting and fairly smooth. We
boarded a new bus on the France side and had lunch shortly into the trip
a similar oasis as we have along the freeway in the states. After lunch
we visited the Claude Monet gardens and Monet's home. We later checked
into our hotel in Caens, France |
