| The vacation is winding down unfortunately. Today we are visiting the Cathedrale de Chartes and the Palace of Versailles. The fountains at the palace are not always on but we were fortunate to see them as they set them off about an hour after we arrived at the palace. This evening we also went to the Les Nocesde Jeannette Restaurant for a wonderful meal and entertainment followed by a trip to the Eiffel Tower. The weather was cold and rainy all day and finally cleared up when we were on the tower. Our reward for putting up with the cold and rainy weather was the most beautiful rainbow I have ever seen. It was so large and brilliant that I was not able to capture the whole thing on my camera. What a site! |
