The Meyer Family Brief History Julien and Amy Meyer started out the connection with four Children, Gary, Dannie, Janet and Maynard. Julien passed away in April 1997 after spending 11 years in the nursing home in Benson, MN. Amypassed away in June 2008. She suffered a stroke in July 1996 leaving her paralized on her right side and living at Homestead Place in Benson, MN until her death. She had just celebrated her 91st birthday. All other members of the Meyer connection are alive and well. Although it was unfortunate that Amy had the stroke, it has strengthened the ties of the Meyer connection. The family has grown during the years and work opportunities have scattered the family although the distance seems to diminish with the help of E-Mail, the internet and cell phones making communication easily accessable. These pages have been posted to help the Meyer connection share their precious moments with each other through pictures. Hopefully the effort will bring the Meyer connection ties even closer. Since the intial startup of the Connection in 1996, many pictures are being posted on their own album websites or on Facebook so these particular pages will not be posted on this site although we hope to have links to the individual's personal pages.
